Community Based Rehabilitation

HRDC's CBR (Community Based Rehabilitation) covers the length and breadth of Nepal through our 4 regional centers, extensive network of field staff, and our continuous mobile clnics that travel throughout Nepal each year.

HRDC runs four satellite clinics in Nepalgunj, Ithari,Lahaan and Butwal as a part of our Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) program. These clinics function as focal points for HRDC’s field activities, coordinating mobile clinics, conducting home visits and maintaining networks with local health stakeholders in the region.

In addition, our Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Children with Physical Disabilities Project (CRCP), which was initiated in 2011 and ended in 2016, also covered Makawanpur and Dhading districts. The project aimed to ensure that there were mechanisms in place to identify cases of pediatric disability, and to take to preventative, curative and rehabilitative measures.
