Countrywide community-based rehabilation program

HRDC runs five satellite clinics in Nepalgunj, Baglung, Chitwan, Lahaan and Ithari as a part of our Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) program. These clinics function as focal points for HRDC’s field activities, coordinating mobile clinics, conducting home visits and maintaining networks with local health stakeholders in the region.

In addition, our Comprehensive Rehabilitation of Children with Physical Disabilities Project (CRCP), which was initiated in 2011, also covers Makawanpur and Dhading districts. The project aims to ensure that there are mechanisms in place to identify cases of pediatric disability, and to take to preventative, curative and rehabilitative measures. Read more...
