Dear HRDC Partners and Well-Wishers,
It is with immense pride and gratitude that I extend my warm greetings to each one of you. I am honored to share with you the essence of what makes the Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children (HRDC) more than just an institution – it is a place of inspiration, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of children in need.
Prof. Ashok Kumar Banskota, is not only the founder but my greatest inspiration. His journey, marked by resilience and dedication, began with a single child, and has evolved into the flourishing institution we know today. Mahatma Gandhi's words, "The smallest good deed is better than the biggest good intention," resonate deeply within the heart of HRDC, embodied by my father's relentless pursuit of performing good deeds.
HRDC is more than just a workplace; it is a haven where lives are touched, and smiles are restored. The stress-free environment we cherish is a testament to the enduring relationships and friendships forged over decades. Here, differences are discussed openly, fostering an atmosphere free from conflict.
Our treatment model is deeply rooted in the philosophy of compassionate care envisioned by Dr. Ashok Banskota. This shared vision unites us all, making HRDC more than just a job – it's a collective mission. Each member of our dedicated team is valued, creating a sense of responsibility and a drive to do our best for the institution.
The heart of HRDC beats with the resilience of the children we serve. Their infectious smiles, despite facing adversity, inspire us to become better human beings in our pursuit of restoring joy to their lives.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to donors, partners and friends who have stood by HRDC for decades, providing the security needed for the continuity of our work. Your support not only sustains the institution but also secures the livelihoods of our dedicated staff and their families.
Sincerely
Dr. Bibek Banskota (CV)
